ACCOUNT SECURITY PRACTICES

How y33s Handles Your Data and Security

Our security and data practices are built around specific, verifiable controls rather than broad promises.

Data Encryption

All account data — including transaction records from UPI, Paytm, and PhonePe — is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Cookie Policy

We use session cookies for login continuity and analytics cookies to understand how pages are used.

Data Retention

Transaction and account records are retained for the period required by applicable law.

Account Security

Two-step verification is available for all accounts and is strongly encouraged.

Right to Erasure

You can request deletion of your personal data by submitting a written request to our legal inbox.

Dispute Escalation

If an internal resolution does not satisfy you, these terms specify the jurisdiction and arbitration process you may invoke.

Legal Questions We Get Asked Most

The answers below cover your most common questions about account rights, data handling, and what these terms mean for how you use the platform. For anything not answered here, contact our legal team directly.

Yes. All payment activity — whether through UPI, Paytm, or PhonePe — is governed by these terms. Each transaction is logged against your account and subject to the verification and dispute procedures described in the full document.

You can request a full data export from the Account Settings panel or by emailing our legal inbox. We compile and deliver the export within ten business days. The file includes account history, transaction logs, and communication records.

When you close your account, we retain your records for the period required by law and then delete them. Any pending withdrawals to Paytm or PhonePe are processed before closure is finalised, provided your identity verification is complete.

The governing jurisdiction is specified in the Dispute Resolution clause of the full terms document. Access to the platform depends on local law, and the applicable jurisdiction reflects that. If you are unsure, contact our legal team for clarification.

Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time from the Notification Preferences section in Account Settings or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any communication we send. Withdrawal takes effect within 48 hours across all channels.

We update the terms when regulations or platform practices change. Every update triggers a notification to your registered email, and the revised document is posted with a version date. Continuing to use the platform after the notice period confirms acceptance.

Contact our legal inbox immediately with a written description of your concern. We acknowledge all data complaints within 24 hours and open a formal investigation. If the matter is unresolved internally, the terms set out your escalation rights.
